In 2017, the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, deployed a real-time online monitoring system in Fuxian Lake, Yunnan. This system integrates multi-parameter water quality monitoring instruments, multi-functional imaging devices, and nutrient analyzers. The monitored parameters include water quality (water temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, chlorophyll a, cyanobacteria), hydrology (flow velocity), and meteorology (wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, air pressure). The water quality instruments can measure profiles from 0 to 100 meters in Fuxian Lake.
